Commercial concrete & structural

Concrete you can build on.

Artistic Construction has been pouring commercial concrete and handling structural work across Cherokee County and the North Georgia metro area for 23 years. We work with general contractors, property managers, facility owners and developers on projects that run from a single footing repair to full-scope commercial foundations.

Our commercial division handles the concrete and the structural scope under one contract. Fewer subs to coordinate, one crew that understands how the concrete and steel work together, and a single point of accountability for the job.

It’s the same crew and the same update discipline our residential clients count on, on projects where tolerances and timelines actually matter.

Our services

Commercial concrete and structural services.

From flatwork and slabs to steel beams and structural repairs, this is the full scope we handle for commercial properties across North Georgia.

01

Commercial Concrete Flatwork

Every horizontal surface your property needs: sidewalks, parking areas, ramps, loading zones, equipment pads and entryways. We handle the full process, from grading and forming through the pour, the finish and the cure. Our flatwork holds up under commercial traffic because we don’t cut corners on base prep, reinforcement or joint placement.

02

Commercial Concrete Slabs

Structural slabs poured to the load, thickness and finish your application calls for. A slab-on-grade for a retail buildout, a thickened-edge slab for a warehouse, a shop floor that takes heavy equipment. Proper mix design, reinforcement and subgrade prep are where slab performance starts.

Commercial Foundations & Footings

The part of the project nobody sees is usually the part that matters most. We pour spread footings, continuous footings and pier footings, and handle footing repairs on existing commercial structures. Every footing is formed and poured to the engineered spec: depth, width, rebar placement and bearing capacity for the loads above.

04

Monolithic Slab Foundations

A monolithic pour combines the floor slab and the perimeter footing into a single placement. No cold joints, no separate pours, and a faster schedule. Thickened edges around the perimeter and at load points carry the structural weight, all formed and poured in one shot. It works well for single-story commercial buildings, shops and warehouses on stable soil.

Poured Concrete Walls

Formed and poured walls for retaining, structural and foundation applications. Retaining walls that hold back grade on commercial lots. Stem walls that sit on footings to support the structure above. Full basement foundation walls. We set forms, place rebar, pour, strip and waterproof, and the walls come out straight, plumb and built to carry the loads the engineer designed for.

Concrete Repair & Replacement

When existing concrete is spalling, cracking, settling or creating trip hazards, we evaluate the damage and tell you whether a targeted repair or a full replacement makes more sense. We saw-cut and re-pour damaged sections, level settled slabs, and address the underlying cause so the problem doesn’t come back.

Structural Repairs

When the problem goes deeper than surface-level concrete damage, that’s structural territory. Settling foundations, cracked footings, foundation movement, compromised framing and failing masonry support all require an understanding of how loads transfer through a building. We diagnose the root cause, coordinate with engineers when stamped plans are needed, and execute the repair so the structure is sound again.

Steel Beam Installation

When a project calls for steel, we handle the full installation. New beams, beam replacements, reinforcing existing steel, and load transfers that redistribute weight through the structure. We coordinate with structural engineers on sizing and placement, manage the fabrication timeline, and install with the precision these jobs require.

Load Bearing Wall Removal

Opening up a commercial floor plan usually means removing a load bearing wall, which means the load that wall was carrying has to go somewhere else. We handle the structural engineering coordination, temporary shoring, beam installation, framing modifications and inspections. The result is an open layout on properly engineered support that meets code.

Concrete Design

Concrete on a commercial property often has to look good, not just hold up. Stamped patterns, stained finishes, exposed aggregate, scored designs and custom color matching. These finishes work well on restaurant patios, retail entries, office courtyards and any commercial space where appearance matters as much as function.

Why Artistic Construction

23 years solving what sends commercial projects sideways.

Commercial concrete work gets complicated. Multiple trades, tight schedules, soil conditions that don’t match the geotech report, weather windows that close faster than anyone planned for. We’ve seen all of it, and we’ve built a process that keeps projects moving when it happens.

01

One Contractor, Full Scope

Concrete, structural steel, wall removals and repairs. You don’t need to coordinate three different subs. We handle the entire concrete and structural scope under one contract.

02

Daily Progress Updates

You’ll know what happened on your job today and what’s planned for tomorrow. Whether you’re a GC managing 12 trades or an owner with one project, you stay informed without chasing us.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

What types of commercial projects do you handle?+

Retail buildings, warehouses, office complexes, churches, restaurants, industrial facilities, multi-family developments and mixed-use properties. If the project involves concrete or structural work on a commercial property, we can scope it.

Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors?+

Yes. Much of our commercial concrete work comes through GCs who need a reliable concrete sub. We’re comfortable with the bidding process, we can provide turnkey or labor-only pricing, and we work within the project schedule without creating coordination headaches.

Can you handle both the concrete work and the structural steel?+

We can. Steel beam installation, load bearing wall removal and structural concrete are all services we provide in-house. That means fewer subs to coordinate and one crew that understands how the structural and concrete elements work together.

Do you provide engineered plans or just follow them?+

We work with structural engineers regularly and can coordinate the engineering side of any project that requires stamped plans. For steel beam installs and load bearing wall removals, we handle the engineer coordination so you don’t have to manage that separately.

What areas do you serve?+

We’re based in Woodstock, Georgia, and serve Cherokee County, North Fulton and the broader North Georgia metro area. That includes Canton, Alpharetta, Roswell, Holly Springs, Ball Ground, Kennesaw, Acworth and Marietta. For larger commercial projects, we’ll consider jobs throughout the greater Atlanta area.

How do you handle estimates for commercial work?+

We start with a site visit to evaluate the scope, soil conditions, access and any existing structural issues. From there we provide a detailed written estimate with line-by-line pricing. No ballpark guesses and no surprises after the work starts.

Are you licensed and insured for commercial work?+

Yes. We hold GA Lic. #RB102478 and carry $5M in liability insurance, and every project is backed by our 1-year workmanship warranty. We’ve been doing this for 23 years and have completed 5,000+ projects across residential and commercial.
