Most finished basements take 6–10 weeks depending on size, plumbing and structural work. We give you a detailed schedule before we start.
What can I use my finished basement for?+
Home theaters, game rooms, guest suites and in-law apartments, home offices, home gyms, wet bars, kids’ playrooms and recreation space are the most common. We design the layout around how your family will use it day to day.
Can you add a bathroom downstairs?+
Yes, full or half baths are one of the most popular additions. We handle the plumbing, venting and any pump system your layout needs.
Do I need permits for a basement remodel?+
In most cases, yes. Basement finishing typically requires a building permit, and adding plumbing for a bathroom or wet bar requires a plumbing permit too. We handle every application and inspection, and we make sure bedrooms and exits meet code, including egress windows where they’re required.
How do you handle moisture and ventilation?+
We assess moisture before framing and address it properly: drainage, vapor control, ventilation and the right materials. Georgia’s humidity and red clay soil are hard on a finished basement, and it’s exactly where shortcuts show up later.
