The footing decides whether everything above it holds. Undersized, it settles. Poured on the wrong bearing, it moves. Set off the line, it becomes a problem for every trade that follows.
We handle the full scope: spread footings, continuous footings and pier footings for new commercial construction, plus repair and underpinning for failing footings on existing structures. Every one is formed and poured to the engineered specification, with the depth, width, rebar placement and bearing capacity the loads above demand.

From new commercial construction to repairs on a structure that has already moved, here is what we pour.
Spread Footings
Isolated pads that carry a concentrated point load, typically under a column or pier. Sized and reinforced to spread that load across enough bearing soil to hold it without settling.
Continuous Footings
Also called strip footings. A continuous run of concrete under a bearing wall that distributes the load evenly along its full length, formed square and level with the rebar carried straight through.
Pier Footings
Deeper isolated footings that carry the load down to competent bearing when the soil near grade will not take it. Used for columns and structures on sloping or variable ground.
Footing Repairs
Underpinning and repair for footings that have cracked or started to settle. We find out why it moved before we fix it, then rebuild the bearing so the structure stops moving.

Footing work is structural work.
There is no room for approximation below grade. A footing that is undersized, poured on disturbed fill, or short on reinforcement will not announce the problem right away. It shows up later as stair-step cracks in the masonry and doors that will not close.

What types of footings do you pour?+
Spread footings, continuous footings and pier footings, plus repairs and underpinning on existing structures. Which one a project needs comes down to the loads, the span between bearing points and what the soil will carry. We pour to whatever the engineering calls for.
Do you follow engineered plans or provide them?+
Both. We pour to your engineer’s stamped plans, and we can coordinate the engineering when a project needs stamped drawings.
Can you repair a settling footing?+
Yes. We assess the cause of the settlement and underpin or repair the footing so the structure stops moving.
Can you work on the footings of an existing building?+
Yes. A good share of our footing work is on existing commercial structures that have settled or need more bearing than the original footing provides. We shore what needs supporting, expose the footing, and underpin or rebuild it so the load has somewhere solid to go.
What about soil conditions?+
We know Cherokee County soils. If conditions don’t match the geotech report, we flag it before we pour, not after.
Do footings require a permit and inspection?+
Yes. Footing and foundation work sets the load path of the building, so it is permitted and inspected in Cherokee County and the surrounding jurisdictions. The footing is inspected before any concrete is placed. We handle the permit process as part of the project.
How long does footing work take?+
It depends on the footprint, the depth, the soil and how much of the schedule is engineering and permitting rather than fieldwork. We map the full timeline out in the bid so you know what to expect before we start.
